Our Impact

Just Rights for Children (JRC) is driving transformative change, championing child protection and empowering survivors to seek holistic justice. Through unparalleled grassroots mobilisation—one of the largest the nation has ever witnessed— we are creating a place where there is no impunity for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Our ground breaking research shows that we are on the verge of eliminating child marriage and trafficking in India. We are approaching a tipping point, beyond which these crimes will no longer prevail.

To date, more than 300,000 children have been directly supported with legal assistance and rehabilitation.

JRC played a pivotal role in initiating the movement for a child marriage free India, which has now culminated in the Government of India launching the transformative ‘Child Marriage Free Bharat’ campaign.

Today the fight against child marriage has gone global with the launch of Child Marriage Free Nepal and Child Marriage Free World in 2024.
